Most parents have lots of questions about private schools. For one thing, it is hard to determine private school rankings because there is no ranking system. Then there is the pressing question of paying for an expensive private school education. Let's go down the list of questions parents ask most often.

1. Which is the best school in....?

So many factors come into play when choosing a school for your child that you almost don't know where to begin. Choosing a School 101 gives you a road map for the process. The important thing to understand is that each school is unique. Always look for a school or schools which fit your needs and the needs of your child. Get the fit right and you will have success.

2. How does my child get into a private school?

The process of identifying the right school for your child is one thing. The actual mechanics of interviewing, taking admissions tests and applying are quite another. Fortunately there are plenty of resources to help you get through it successfully.

3. How do I pay for a private education?

Every parent should complete the financial aid forms. Depending on your financial situation, a variety of options are available. Most schools offer scholarships so that families which otherwise might not be able to afford a private education can do so. Several school offer a free education if a family makes less than $60,000-$75,000 a year.

4. How do I get my child into a school for this fall?
